In the south of Aix, on the outskirts of the village of Luynes, the ‘Domaine de Fontvieille’ (an old bastide with its outbuildings, surrounded by a pine forest) comprises CIPEC School with its classrooms, activity and recreational areas, canteen, terraces, sports and games areas and log cabins.
Children from concreted areas, even luxurious ones, are gloomy, like when in detention. A building, that is a little old, merits our respect, due to its style. A green natural environment creates spaces which makes children curious, with lots of secret places. Children, basically, need to build cabins.
When at CIPEC, we talk about bilingualism, we are not only speaking about the 'quality of a person who is fluent in two languages', but primarily about 'the quality of a person who, having received an education in two languages, has a plural faculty of integration.’
